In 2017 the band released their second album 'Adrestia'. 'Minos' is a concept album, following immediately after the events of (one of the possible endings of) the last Verona Lights album 'Adrestia' (also a concept album).
The looping and winding labyrinth has a double meaning here, as while they are navigating the fragile social aspect of the situation they're in and attempting to find a safe exit, they are also navigating their own mind, trying not to get lost in the "why" and focusing more on the "how" of seeking their redemption.
Keeping in mind that the labyrinth being representative of both the physical world and a metaphor for the mind; here, the "labyrinth" has been maintained and repaired over time with gold, which may look more beautiful than stone, but is far weaker.
